Slick Roads Could Have Caused Teen’s Death In PGH

Pittsburgh, (WPXI)–Slick roads are being blamed for the death of a teenager in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood Friday afternoon. Emergency crews were called just before 3:00 p.m. on Friday. A pickup truck reportedly began sliding and hit a pole before continuing to slide. It then his Ishara Kami, 17, who was standing on the sidewalk after leaving Carrick High School. Medics began CPR and took Kami to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. According to authorities, the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and there is no word if any charges might be filed.
