PITTSBURGH — On Sunday night, the sought-after Mac Miller bobbleheads were listed for as much as $2,000 on eBay, leaving many fans frustrated after they had waited for hours. The long line stretching across the Roberto Clemente Bridge and into the city. Hundreds of fans who attended Saturday night’s Pirates game had hoped to receive a special edition Mac Miller Pirates bobblehead. The keepsake was promised to the first 20,000 guests, but after hours of waiting, many walked away empty-handed. Some guests camped out as early as 8 a.m., while others joined the line at 11 a.m., nearly eight hours before the 6:40 p.m. game started. Upset fans even began fighting over the bobbleheads. The couple revealed they saw other guests take multiple bobbleheads at once and then attempt to resell them both outside and inside the stadium. “You would walk inside, and it wasn’t just a single person getting a single bobblehead; these resellers were coming back through and grabbing several bobbleheads. That’s how some ended up with six,” Briggs said.
