BROWNSVILLE, Pa. – A Hopwood man was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh last night, after being shot multiple times during an apparent break-in at a home in Brownsville. Authorities say sixty-nine-year-old Ronald Rosiek allegedly broke into the home of a woman at the intersection of 18th and Water Street around eleven-thirty. The woman told Rosiek to leave, but court documents say he kept advancing toward her, so she shot him. She was eventually able to run out of the house. There’s been no word on his condition. The two then got into a struggle in the bathroom before the woman was able to escape and run out of the home. Rosiek is now facing 10 charges, including burglary, aggravated assault and criminal trespassing.
