Tractor Trailer Fire On Interstate 70 East

An overnight fuel tanker that caught fire after an accident closed a portion of Interstate 70 East on Tuesday night. According to Washington County 9-1-1 dispatchers, a fuel tanker overturned at mile marker 34.5 in Fallowfield Township at 11:21 pm. The tanker was carrying 9000 gallons of fuel when it caught fire. The fire was extinguished, no injuries were reported. Interstate 70 East was closed for several hours during the incident. It has since reopened.
