Another threat involving the Trinity School District.  In a letter sent to parents and guardians Wednesday night, Superintendent Dr. Michael Lucas says the district received a Safe2Say message. A series of screenshots suggested that someone with a weapon may attempt to enter a school.  In one of the screenshots, an individual added the words “especially Trinity”.  Dr. Lucas says Trinity Police have determined that it is not a credible threat. In the letter, Dr. Lucas says as a precaution, there will be an increased presence of police officers, administrators and security in all of their buildings.  He also is advising student to not ‘re-share’ any alarming posts they may see online and to report anything concerning to an adult, police officer or school personnel. Trinity is also making guidance counselors available for any child that may feel anxious or overwhelmed.
