Twenty-Eight Injured In Camp Bus Crash In Fayette County

(WPXI) – More than 20 people were taken to local hospitals after a crash involving a camp bus in Fayette County. The crash happened just after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Pine Slopes Road and Indian Creek Valley Road in Saltlick Township. A 911 dispatcher told Channel 11 the bus went through a fence and into a field. Twenty-eight people of the forty-nine on the bus were taken to hospitals. All but three of them were children.  Authorities say most of the injuries were bumps and bruises.  State police in Uniontown are investigating.
