Two Flown From Accident Scene

Emergency crews were called out just after two o’clock Thursday afternoon for an accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.  Washington County 911 tells WJPA that it happened at the blinking light at the intersection of Route 40 and 519.  Dispatchers say the operator of the motorcycle and a passenger on the bike were transported by medical helicopters to a Pittsburgh hospital.  There was no word on what caused the crash or the nature of the injuries.
