Two National Guard Members Critically Wounded

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration has ordered 500 more National Guard members to Washington following the shooting of Guard troops. That’s according to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. He said Wednesday that President Donald Trump asked him to send the Guard members. There are currently almost 2,200 troops assigned to the joint task force operating in the city. Two National Guard soldiers were critically wounded in a shooting. They were hospitalized.
