A 20-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday in the 100 block of North Main Street in the city of Washington, according to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco. Julian Lassic of Washington was pronounced dead at 3:40 a.m. at Washington hospital, the coroner said. Another person also was shot and taken a Pittsburgh hospital, police said. No arrests have been made. Joe Vucic, the owner of Joe’s Bakery, said he saw one of the victims lying on the sidewalk in back of his business. Washington Mayor JoJo Burgess said the shooting was not random, and that there was no ongoing threat to the public.
