Two Washington Teens Killed In South Strabane Crash

SOUTH STRABANE, Pa. — Two Washington teenagers died in a one-vehicle crash late Saturday night in South Strabane Township.  It happened in the 3000 block of East Maiden Street just after 11 p.m.  Callers reported a car “wrapped around a tree” and possible entrapment to Washington County 911 operators. When emergency personnel arrived on scene, EMS confirmed one teen occupant was found deceased next to the vehicle, while another was still heavily trapped inside the wreckage. The Washington County Coroner identified the victims as 17-year-old Justin Crawford and the passenger as 17-year-old Nevaeh Sheets. The coroner’s office says Crawford lost control of the car and hit the tree. It is unknown if either were wearing a seatbelt. A cause and manne rof death for both is pending.  South Strabane Township Police are investigating.
