Washington Man Faces Trial For Threatening Judge

A Washington man is in the Washington County Jail for allegedly making threats to kill President Judge John DiSalle. A preliminary hearing for Gerald Gregg, 58 was held Friday. Witness testimony from two individuals stated that on March 30, Gregg was ranting to them about past cases of his and threatening Judge DiSalle. as they encountered him while they were trying to enter the courthouse. Gregg was stopped by city police on a be on the look out call. He was found to have a suspended license but he was released. Gregg was arrested later that day in front of the Sheriff’s office at Courthouse Square. Gregg had felony retaliation against a judge and misdemeanor terroristic threats charges along with a summary driving with a suspended license charge held for court. His formal arraignment date is still undetermined. He will remain in the Washington County Jail without bond.
