The Washington Park will play host to an afternoon dedicated to the art lover in everyone. The second annual “Arts in the Park” program will take place Saturday, September 7, from 11 AM until 3 PM at the Main Pavilion and Log Cabin. It promises to be a day of artistic fun and entertainment for people of all ages. More than 25 activities including tie dye, rock painting, architectural art and more will be available for participants to explore. There will be 10 exciting performances that will include productions from the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and musician Dan Baker. The first 200 children will receive a free lunch and students will be able to take home free art supplies. Local art and food vendors will also be on hand. Admission to the event is free.
