SAN DIEGO (AP) — Investigators say six people aboard a private plane died when it crashed in a San Diego neighborhood in heavy fog. Thursday’s crash stunned the alternative music industry because the victims included 42-year-old music executive Dave Shapiro, drummer Daniel Williams, who used to play in the popular Ohio metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada, and two employees of Shapiro’s Sound Talent Group agency. The agency said both Kendall Fortner and Emma Huke were good at their jobs as booking associates. The other victims were professional photographer Celina Kenyon and a 41-year-old man named Dominic Damian. It could take a year to sort out exactly what caused the crash.
