PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WPXI) — Thousands of people were without power and road conditions were deteriorating after snow fell, winds picked up and temperatures plummeted. PennDOT announced speed limit reductions on multiple major roadways in Allegheny, Beaver, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland counties. First Energy and Duquesne Light are both reporting outages in multiple counties. In Washington County, there are just under 400 homes in the dark, with most of them in Canton and Blaine Townships. The City of Washington is dealing with some at this time as well. All outages are expected to be resolved by 11:00 p.m. Saturday night.
