An Ohio man is in the Washington County jail facing numerous felony charges in connection with a head-on, hit-and-run crash Sunday afternoon in North Franklin Township. Our news partners at Channel-11 say 35 year old Nathan Boyer ran from the scene of the crash that seriously injured a 48 year old woman and a child. It happened around 12:30 p.m. along Park Avenue near Armour Road. According to reports, Boyer’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the other vehicle. Boyer then ran into a nearby cemetery and woods. Police found him about two hours later. Police say he was driving on a suspended license. The unidentified woman and child were both taken to Washington Hospital. There is no report on their conditions.
