Woman Faces Trial In Fatal Wrong-Way Crash

The woman that is charged with driving the wrong way on Interstate 79 and crashing into another car killing its driver is scheduled to stand trial. Kristina Coyne, 27 of Washington scheduled a jury trial for March of 2023. Coyne is accused of killing 56 year old Holly Ann Davis in that wrong way crash in October of 2021. Court documents state that she had driven as many as 5 miles before crashing into Davis’ car. Accident reconstruction indicated that she had been driving at approximately 70 miles per hour at the time of the crash. Coyne is facing homicide and homicide by vehicle charges, along with several DUI related charges. Coyne is currently free on a $250,000 bond.
