NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. — (WPXI) – A 30-year-old woman is dead after state police say she crashed her vehicle into a stoplight. 911 dispatchers said police, firefighters and medics were called to Pittsburgh Road and Oliver Blvd. Road in Noth Union Township at around 4:26 p.m. State Police said Britley Brashear died on impact after her vehicle crashed into a stoplight. The stoplight had been knocked over and two tires were observed detached from the car in the nearby area. Authorities say the crash happened as Brashear attempted to make a right-hand turn at a high rate of speed. Police said the car abruptly caught on fire after it crashed. West Leisenring Fire Department extinguished the fire.
