Young Boy Flown to UPMC after Lawnmower Accident

NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP, PA — A young child in North Strabane Township was recently rushed to the hospital after a lawnmower accident. WJPA News spoke to officials at 911, who stated the incident happened just after 1pm on Trotwood Drive Friday afternoon, as the young boy was accidentally run over by a lawnmower. He was flown to UPMC’s Children’s Hospital, where he received immediate medical attention. As of now, the boy is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
