Avella lost a 16-point lead but rallied past Beth-Center, extending the Bulldogs losing streak to eight games. Bentworth picked up an important win in the fight for a playoff spot, beating Carmichaels while Jeff-Morgan kept a firm grip on a share of the Tri-County South lead. Charleroi snapped a 14-game losing streak, beating Sto-Rox, the Cougars’ first win win beating Waynesburg to end the 2022 season. Trinity was the only big school winner in the two-county area, rolling past Ringgold. Canon-McMillan lost in overtime while Peters Township was shutout in the second half in a loss to Upper St. Clair. McGuffey, Wash High and Waynesburg were all shutout.
