Ryan Moessner scored in the 52nd minute, breaking a scoreless tie and Blake Lusk added an insurance marker 20 minutes later, leading two-time defending champion Bentworth back to the WPIAL Finals with a 2-0 win over Beaver County Christian. The Bearcats will face #2 Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in a rematch of last year’s WPIAL Final.

4A Boys #4 Seneca Valley > #1 Peters Township, 3-0
1A Girls #2 Bentworth > #11 Waynesburg, 1-0 Watch/Listen Here!
Bella Moyer tallied the game’s only goal in the 36th minute as the #2 Bearcats earned their first trip to the WPIAL finals since 2018. Waynesburg had a chance to tie but a shot hit the crossbar and was cleared. Bentworth’s win is the third against the Raiders this year after sweeping the section season series.
