A most ambitious plan comes together tonight for Week 6 of the high school football season. We’ve broadcast four football games in a single day several times over WJPA’s nearly 85-year history. Never have we carried four games all starting within a half-hour of each other! That’s the plan tonight here on the WJPA Sports Network. wo of the three leaders in the 1A Black Hills meet when Wash High visits Bentworth on WJPA-AM (1450). Two more top teams in the Black Hills play at Hill Memorial Stadium as unbeaten Burgettstown entertains Fort Cherry on wjpa.com. 5A Allegheny Six action opens when Trinity hosts Thomas Jefferson on WJPA-FM (95.3) and the 6A Quad County Conference has Canon-McMillan visiting North Allegheny with an audio-only online stream at wjpa.com. All four games are available online, with audio & video streams for the TJ/Trinity, Wash High/Bentworth and Fort Cherry/Burgettstown games with pregame at 6:30 pm. The Canon-McMillan/North Allegheny pregame is set for 6:50 pm with a 7:30 kickoff in Wexford. Watch/Listen Here!
