We’re down to the final day of the baseball/softball regular season. Trinity’s game at Moon was postponed but the Hillers clinched their 5A playoff berth with Peters Township’s win over South Fayette. Chartiers-Houston lost at California but clinched when Beth-Center knocked off Frazier hours later. Like Trinity, McGuffey didn’t have to play to get in, though they will later tonight against Seton-La Salle. Thursday afternoon, Wash High won just its second section game, beating Keystone Oaks and clinching a playoff spot for the Highlanders.
