Cal U Women Eliminated, Men to Region Semifinals

Charleston WV held California University women to six points total over the middle quarters and beat the Vulcans, 52-34, ending the Cal U season in the region semifinals. Meanwhile, the Cal U men’s team, led by five players in double figures, had no trouble with Fairmont State, rolling to a 95-74 win and a berth in the semifinals Sunday. The Vulcans will face West Virginia State, on overtime upset winner over West Liberty, the nation’s top-scoring team.
