(AP) – Longtime NHL executive Ray Shero has died. He was 62. The Minnesota Wild announced Shero’s death Wednesday. It was not immediately clear how Shero died or where he was. Shero had been a senior adviser to Wild general manager Bill Guerin. The son of Hall of Fame coach Fred Shero, Ray worked in the league since the mid-90s and was GM of the Pittsburgh Penguins when they won the Stanley Cup in 2009. (Photo: AP)
