Four-Time Super Bowl Champion Mike Wagner Dies At 76

PITTSBURGH — We have lost another member of the Steelers famed Steel Curtain defense. Four-time Super Bowl champion Mike Wagner has died at the age of 76. Steelers President Art Rooney II announced the news Wednesday night. According to reports, Wagner was fighting pancreatic cancer since a 2020 diagnosis. “On behalf of the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mike’s family. He will always be remembered as a champion, a great teammate and a proud member of the Steelers family,” Rooney said.
