Wash High scored early and often, rolling past Waynesburg, setting up a showdown at unbeaten Sto-Rox next week. McGuffey lost at home in a match-up of 2A Century unbeaten teams. Trinity’s playoff hopes took a big hit with the home loss to Latrobe, giving the Wildcats control of their own destiny heading into the final weeks of the season. Canon-McMillan led by two touchdowns early but couldn’t make it stand up. Avella rallied past Carlynton as the Eagles snapped their 7-game losing streak. Ringgold wasn’t as fortunate as the Rams fell for the 11th straight time.
