Our busiest week of the year opened with a showdown at the top of Girls 2A Section 4. Wash High outscored Chartiers-Houston 23-17 after intermission, led by Olivia Woods’ 11 points, to hand the Bucs their first section loss. The teams are tied for the section lead with one week to play. Trinity clinched a playoff berth with a win at Moon. Fort Cherry’s win keeps the Rangers just a game back of Burgettstown heading into their second meeting Thursday night.
