HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Las Vegas coach Pete Carroll has assembled a Raiders roster full of players with something to prove. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett is a prime example. Carroll praised Pickett’s adaptability, noting his quick grasp of new systems despite frequent trades. Pickett has moved from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, then to Cleveland and now to Las Vegas. He was drafted by the Steelers in 2022 but didn’t meet expectations. Pickett hopes to find stability with the Raiders, learning from Geno Smith’s career revival under Carroll. The Raiders acquired Pickett after Aidan O’Connell’s injury.
