NHL; Blue Jackets Drop Assistant Who Won’t Get Vaccinated

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – The Columbus Blue Jackets have replaced assistant coach Sylvain Lefebvre for declining to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.  The Jackets have promoted Steve McCarthy to replace Lefebvre on head coach Brad Larsen’s staff.  NHL coaches and other team staff who closely interact with players are required to be fully vaccinated.
