PITTSBURGH (AP) — No. 9 Notre Dame extended its winning streak to eight with a decisive 37-15 win over No. 23 Pittsburgh. Irish running back Jeremiyah Love ran for 147 yards and a score for the Irish, who improved to 8-2 with the victory. Malachi Fields added two touchdown receptions for Notre Dame. Pitt saw its five-game winning streak snapped on a day true freshman quarterback Mason Heintschel struggled. Heintschel passed for just 126 yards with an interception as Pitt fell to 7-3. Notre Dame hosts Syracuse next week while the Panthers visit No. 14 Georgia Tech.
