Golf will have three major championships, at most, this year.  The Royal & Ancients announced the cancellation of the British Open in July because of the spread of COVID-19. The R&A is pushing the British Open rotation back one year, staying at Royal St. George’s. The Masters has been rescheduled to Nov. 12-15, just two weeks before Thanksgiving at Augusta National.  The PGA Championship returns to August while the US Open plans to stay at Winged Foot Spet. 17-20 as of now. Those schedules are all dependent on health officials saying it’s safe to resume given the novel coronavirus. The Tour Championship would end on Labor Day.
