Pirates Make Roster Move

The Pittsburgh Pirates placed left-handed pitcher Rob Zastryzny on the 15-day injured list with left forearm inflammation.  Right-handed pitcher Carmen Mlodzinski has been selected from Triple-A Indianapolis.  The 24-year-old Mlodzinski (pronounced ma-JINSK-ee) was 2-2 with one save, a 3.16 ERA  and 31 strikeouts in 19 relief appearances this season with Indianapolis. Prior to his promotion, Mlodzinski was scored upon in just two of his final 12 appearances with Indianapolis, posting a 2.16 ERA.  Mlodzinski, who has no previous big league experience, will wear uniform No. 50.
