PITTSBURGH (AP) – New Pittsburgh Pirates president Travis Williams says he’s confident team owner Bob Nutting is committed to winning. Williams will succeed Frank Coonelly on Nov. 1. He says his job is to put the right people in place to help the Pirates climb back into contention following a last-place finish in the NL Central. Williams’ first order of business will be finding a general manager after the team parted with Neal Huntington.
