PITTSBURGH (AP) — Oneil Cruz hit a tie-breaking single in the eighth inning, leading the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 1-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds to complete a three-game sweep. Pirates rookie Konnor Griffin doubled against Reds reliever Tony Santillan, setting up Cruz’s decisive hit. Gregory Soto earned the win in relief after a strong start by Braxton Ashcraft, who allowed just four hits over 7 2/3 innings.
