Washington & Jefferson rolled up 239 yards rushing, scoring six touchdowns, on the way to a 56-10 win at St. Vincent Saturday afternoon. Andrew Sharp ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns. Kobe DeRosa racked up 80 and a pair of touchdowns for the Presidents, who won for the fourth straight week. Both running backs tallied 17 carries. Quarterback Kellen Stahl hit 19-of-27 passes for 255 yards and a pair of first-half TDs, one each to Jacob Macosko and John Peduzzi. Stahl has now thrown for 250+ yards in all six W&J games this year. Macosko’s scoring catch moved him into a tie for seventh place all-time on the career receiving touchdowns list with 28, joining Ryan Silvis. Peduzzi is second on that list, now with 45 scoring catches. W&J improves to 4-0 in conference play, one game up on a four-team logjam: Case-Western, Geneva, Grove City and Westminster. The Presidents play the first two in the group in back-to-back games Nov. 1 & Nov. 8. W&J has already beaten Grove City & Westminster. Wash/Jeff will host Waynesburg next Saturday at Cameron Stadium and on WJPA-AM.
