NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. (AP) — Rory McIlroy has found the solution to the blister on his right pinky toe, just in time for the PGA Championship. He got a bigger shoe and made it through his nine-hole practice round at Aronimink just fine on Wednesday. The championship starts Thursday, and McIlroy plays with Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm. McIlroy says the toe only hurts when he has to walk downhill. The Masters champion did end up missing the PGA champions dinner that Scottie Scheffler hosted. It’s like the Masters dinner, only not really. The menu isn’t as elaborate and Scheffler didn’t have to pay for it.
