Steelers Hurting At Wide Receiver

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers will be short-handed at wide receiver when they travel to face Tampa Bay. Michael Pittman, Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek have been ruled out due to injury. That leaves a large group of youngsters and unknowns behind star DK Metcalf. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers says building chemistry with new players can be difficult, but he’s trying to provide a crash course of sorts. Rookie Germie Bernard has proven to be a quick study. The second-round pick is coming off a season-best six receptions for 80 yards in a win over Indianapolis. Bernard credits the pop quizzes Rodgers doles out during meetings with helping him get up to speed in the NFL.
