Freshman Braylon Wagner threw for 218 yards and four touchdowns in his first career start, leading Washington & Jefferson to a 55-0 home shutout of Geneva Saturday afternoon. Wagner, who ran for over 100 yards and a touchdown a week ago at Case-Western, completed 16-of-24 passes, including nine catches by Joey DeSabato, two of those for scores. Andrew Sharp ran 20 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns and caught an 11-yard TD pass early in the third quarter that ended the day for W&J starters. Luke Edwards started the blowout, returning the opening kickoff 55 yards to the Geneva 35. Four plays later, Wagner found AJ Alston in the back corner of the endzone on a 21-yard scoring pass and the rout was on. The Presidents defense made sure that score would have been enough, holding the Golden Tornadoes to just three first downs and 56 yards total offense.  W&J improves to 3-1 over, 2-0 in the PAC. The Red & Black will host Bethany next Saturday as the College celebrates homecoming. Listen Here!
