Wash/Jeff Rolls at Thiel

Jacob Pugh passed for 280 yards and four touchdowns, leading Washington & Jefferson College to a blowout win, 58-7, at Thiel College Saturday evening. Kobe DeRosa ran for a pair of first-half touchdowns helping the Presidents beat the Tomcats for the 40th time in the last 41 meetings. Zach Cernuto caught two scoring passes, one from Pugh, one from Kellen Stahl in relief. Zach Seaman, John Peduzzi, Anthony Rosati and Roberto Smith added TD receptions as W&J put up 506 yards total offense while the defense held Thiel to 74 total yards, -4 rushing, and just four first downs. The Presidents travel to Waynesburg for a Week 3 matchup with the Yellow Jackets.
