Justin Huss carried 21 times for 117 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes from Colton Jones for 40 yards and another score as Washington & Jefferson easily downed Saint Vincent, 52-21 Saturday afternoon. Jones completed 21-of-31 passes for 270 yards and three scores for the 2-0 Presidents. John Peduzzi (57) and TJ Troxell (11) caught the other TD passes. Running back Ray Holmes added 81 yards rushing for W&J, part of a 541 yard total offense performance. W&J scored on four straight possessions in the first half before Saint Vincent cut the 28-0 lead in half at intermission. Three third-quarter scores for the Presidents, including a Deven Wyandt 28-yard field goal and Adam Rudzinski’s 10-yard scoop and score fumble return, put the game away. Donovain Chambers scored the Presidents’ final touchdown, a one-yard run. W&J travels to Cleveland next Saturday night to take on Case-Western Reserve.
