Washington & Jefferson finished off an unbeaten drive through conference play, winning a league-best 28th championship with a 67-0 win over Thiel. John Peduzzi crossed 4,000 career receiving yards thanks to today’s five catches for 122 yards, scoring twice. Jacob Macosko also had five receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown. The Peters Township grad went over 1,000 receiving yards for a second straight year. W&J scored 36 points in the opening quarter, including a Dante DeRubbo 25-yard Pick Six, his 7th interception on the season, a top-five all-time mark. Overall, the Presidents defense held Thiel to one first down and just four yards total offense. Sunday afternoon, W&J will learn its playoff path Sunday afternoon when the NCAA releases its Division III tournament bracket.
