The WPIAL 2A Wrestling Championship opened Friday afternoon at Chartiers Valley and on the WJPA Sports Network. The top six finishers in the three sectional tournaments battle for eight spots in next week’s PIAA Southwest Regional. Burgettstown leads area teams with 10 qualifiers out of the Southern Sectional. McGuffey is sending 8 wrestlers, Beth-Center, Fort Cherry and Jeff-Morgan six each, Bentworth five, West Greene four and Chartiers-Houston and Wash High two each.
