Bri Morreale scored 14 of her team-high 21 points in the second quarter as the #2 Peters Township girls downed Fox Chapel. Daniela Radulovich had an 8-point opening quarter on the way to a 20-point night as the Indians advanced to the 5A quarterfinals and clinched a PIAA playoff berth. The McGuffey girls led, 22-19, at the half, but were held to just 13 points after intermission and were eliminated. The WPIAL championships return to the University of Pittsburgh’s Petersen Events Center Feb. 27-March 1.
