Peters Township took a 14-6 lead into the lockerroom at the half, but couldn’t hold off defending champion Pine-Richland, falling to the Rams, 20-14. Sam Miller and Bryce Thompson connected twice in the first half on long TD passes but Pine-Richland’s defense stuffed the Indians’ offense after the break. Peters Township got a pair of takeaways in the third quarter but couldn’t take advantage. Early in the fourth, Pine-Richland recovered a fumbled pass at the Peters 37 yards line, scoring to take the lead eight plays later on a seven-yard run by Ryan Palmieri.
