Mapletown rolled by St. Joseph to advance to the Class 1A Quarterfinals Thursday. The Maples were the only winner from the two-county area Tuesday as Trinity and Jeff-Morgan were eliminated. Waynesburg (3A) and West Greene (1A) learned their quarterfinal opponents. Six more teams from Washington/Greene Counties begin softball tournament play Wednesday including a pair of games on WJPA-AM (1450) and online.
